Sir: It has been observed that anti-tobaccos campaigns have provided awareness regarding smoking. Nevertheless, the large numbers of deaths has taken place due to smoking. Smoking will kill seven millions peoples till 2030 with growing list in poor and middle income countries of the world. It is reported that 1.3 billion people are smokers and 33 to 50 percent deaths are caused due to smoking habit. Tobacco causes various diseases like, mouth cancer, lung cancer and cardiac diseases. Unfortunately, in today’s world, smoking becomes a major fashion with losing their precious lives. So the Government is humbly requested to take serious actions to put ban on Cigarettes and other drugs in order to protect the lives of the people. The concerned authorities should stay alert to stop the transportation of illegal drugs. HEEMINA RIAZ Turbat
